Richard French cycled from Big Ben to the Eiffel Tower in Paris (about 240 miles) in just 24 hours on 4th July to raise funds for DDMT and, as Richard says on his Fundraising page "in memory of the best Platoon Commander I have ever had the pleasure of working under. The charity has helped several of my friends who were seriously wounded on the same tour that claimed Dougies life."
The London to Paris in 24 hours race took place just a day or two ahead of Le Tour who were in Yorkshire on the day that RF took to his wheels. We hope France gave them a similar welcome!
Richard raised over £1,500 for which a huge thank you.
We would love to hear from you if you know of any soldier (whether current or past), family member or any project that might benefit from our help.
