Funding for children of servicemen killed or injured on duty. August 2012 and June 2014
DDMT is especially interested in helping the children of Forces Personnel killed or wounded while serving their country.
Funding for the secondary education of Forces children when their father or mother is killed serving their country or discharged as a result of their wounds or injuries, is a challenge. The Radley Foundation Armed Forces Fund, established in 2011, has been set up to assist families with this through the Rupert Thorneloe and Dougie Dalzell Bursary Awards. The DDMT has been delighted to contribute in the past and will continue to do so to ensure the very best opportunities for these children.
Recently received letter from Anthony Robinson, Development Director:
"Thank you for the magnificent cheque for the Armed Forces Fund. Please pass on our deepest gratitude to all Trustees; their support means the world to us.
The AFF is beginning to have a real impact. We have just made a fifth AFF Bursary Award to an 11 year old boy whose father, a career soldier, took his own life as a result of work pressures and PTSD. It was a huge privilege to see the joy on his face when I took him and his Mum round Radley a few weeks ago."

We would love to hear from you if you know of any soldier (whether current or past), family member or any project that might benefit from our help.
